CHRISTENING OF CHRISTOS

It’s a Greek orthodox tradition that the godparents give a bomboniere to the guests at a child’s christening. On Christos’s Christening, special bomboniere was arranged consisting of Olive plants wrapped with the natural hessian with a baby blue ribbon. The wooden cross on it was symbolic for Christos’s christening. The christening was held in Sydney. The whole theme of the event was Blue and olive branches were also used. The backdrop of the cake had babies name on it. Olive branches enhanced the beauty of the Olive plant. They were tied beautifully with the plants. It was a perfect bomboniere.

Alongside the plant were a hessian sachet filled with 5 sugar almonds. These were dressed with a handmade keyring and a cross with  the baby initial, ‘C’. The whole event was organized at Omeros on the Beach in Ramsgate with a stunning water backdrop of Blue.
